Only A Few

My son was with friends, late and dark.
His friends wanted to go somewhere unsafe.
Son asked, “Can I go?”
I said no.
I spied.
All of his friends went,
My son stayed.

    1. I know parenting is never easy, but damn if it doesn't make it a hell of a lot more fun when your kids are strong and smart.

  5. Wow. Does it get any better than that? Write a how-to book so I can buy it. My eldest is five. Can you please have it ready in about two years?

  6. I love it when our kids obey even when their friends go off and do silly things/unsafe things. Shows great communication in the parenting skills book. :)
